Just recently the Chotopia Team have revealed some major updates to Chotopia Citizenship and as these major updates come in, I'd like to show you what's been added and what kind of major updates are being added to Chotopia. Let's begin by talking about these major updates!

Starting on the 21st of February at 7pm Cho Time, there is going to be a Costume Carnival Party! And if you think you were just having a party, then think again. There are plans for a costume competition at the party! Be sure you show off your best costume outfit, as you may just win the competition. Be sure to come to the party as there will be a lot of festivities.

Hey Everyone,

Down at the Academy, there is a room called 'The Library of Wisdom' and beyond that, you'll find a librarian and a quest giver. Although, there is something not right about the Library.
But it isn't the NPCs who are off, there is something different about the books.
When you highlight your cursor over the right side of the books, you'll find this animation of a bookcase being moved, and when clicked this appears:
Now, I do find this interesting to think that there'd be a secret room inside of the Library. This room is connected to the Academy and was recently brought in as a new room. We also have a room called the 'Dudes' Chill Zone' which both appear to be in the same direction, although it's definitely interesting to see that the Academy built a Library to the right of the classroom.

As a theory, I think that Choproff is hiding a secret study or a laboratory for his inventions; as he is seen wearing his iconic laboratory jacket, as well as his nametag, which suggests he used to work at a laboratory or he has a laboratory somewhere, but also it could be a hideout for Chopix; as he doesn't appear to have anywhere to go beside the park, but then again he is far away from the Library and doesn't seem like the type of guy to read.

What I'm trying to say is that the Chotopia Staff made this for a purpose.
But for now, let's theorise until they reveal what this room is.

Hey Everyone,

I am going to be showing you how to get a robot and how to play against others as well as how to improve your robot to level up further in robots.
The first thing you should do is head to the Robots Arena in Chotopia:
When you load into the room, you'll be greeted by the Robots Arena. All you need to do is click on the mechanic with the welding mask and wrench, you can identify him as he'll spin a spanner around trying to impress. But if you aren't sure, here is what he looks like in-game:
Next, you should select the G-Bot robot:
The G-Bot has the following statistics:
Energy: 20+
Attack: 6+
Defence: 3+
Mobility: 2+
Accuracy: 4+

Generally, you'll want to upgrade your robot with parts, found here:
Each part has stats for you to add to your robot.
This is great for improving in a fight against another player!
Another great thing about these robot parts is that they can be customised.
Now that you've got a robot, you can start fighting other players.

When you want to play against another player, all you have to do is:
Click on the robots button above and it'll show the following:
As you can see, our assistant Jasmingirl has a Level 2 robot and is on a team.
Sometimes, the fight button will be unavailable. This is because the player may be offline or they can set it so that they don't get invited to play robots battle, but please respect others and ask before you invite someone as I'm sure they'd prefer to be left alone than be harrassed to play robots.
But when you do want to fight, click the fight button with the swords crossed.
When you click 'Yes' your friend will get an invite to play robots.
But if you want to cancel, all you have to do is press 'No' to cancel.

If you send an invite to a robots arena battle, it'll show in the mail like this:
This is what it looks like to get in a game of robots:
After you load into robots, you'll be greeted by the following:
- Playercard with your name, as well as your level.
- The appearance of your robot in-game.
- Robot Health Metre.
- Time remaining in between yours and the enemies robot health metre.
- An attack wheel, determining where you hit them.
There can only be one winner, and if you win or lose; you will have to repair your robot. The fee for repairing a robot is only 200 bugs, but if you don't have that, then you should earn some bugs.

Today, I thought I'd interview Jasmingirl about her position as a Moderator. She has been with us since November 2019, and as a valuable member, she and many staff are respected for their work here at Chotopia keeping it alive and active as possible. Please be sure to say hello to Jasmingirl!
Firstly, how long have you been a staff member for?
I'm not sure but I think since November 2019.

How have you enjoyed your position? Has it been going well?
Ooh yeah - I enjoy being a Staff Member, also posting on the main blog for Chotopia has been enjoyable, and being there as a contact point for help.

What do you like about your position as staff?
I like to improve the game with some ideas, hosting events, planning them and adding them to a document. Since I was a child I looked up to the mods. Now I am one and enjoying this really well. Fun fact: I was an Agent on .de.

Are there any new plans for the future of Chotopia?
We're currently designing some new items and try to develop some new Events. Also, we're trying to have a contest and every second contest, there will be a creative competition.

Are there times where your role as staff gets difficult? When do you think this happens? This can be a form of college or even work.
Ooh, I mean Chotopia is a part of my free time. I'm a college student and having a mini job. So when I have a day like Uni plus Work, I can't take part in daily Cho, as I have to dedicate my time there.

Do you think Chotopia has a lot to improve?
I mean we have construction sites but nothing impossible to be done! We're trying to hire a new Developer to be able to change over our ideas into reality.

And finally, if you had the chance of making a minigame, what would it be and what kind of game would it be? 
We love to play hangman or Pictionary here at the Wall. What about a little mini-game like that? Maybe memory would also be really cool here in Chotopia. If NPC's count to be a minigame: I wanna redesign Cupid, and include all cho's who have done all missions.

What an incredible staff member, but that doesn't mean that Jasmingirl is the only staff who gets this, all of the staff are well respected for their work at Chotopia and I hope to interview as many as I can.

Happy Valentines Day! Today's the day you spend time with your friends, family or even your lover. As I see it, the day is more about happiness than sadness, but if that's the case, then see someone who will make you happy today, and if you are alone today, make your own Valentines Day! I wish you the best today and I hope today you spend it at your happiest.

I just wanted to let you know about the recent events from yesterday on the 12th February 2020. As always there was a Valentines Day Party on Chotopia at 8pm Cho Time, and as the party progressed; there was a lot of exciting magic and then the rain came! Followed by that we had a quiz, which had some excellent questions about Valentines Day and a lot of them were interesting to participate in, and although I didn't know some of them, they definitely helped me learn more about Valentines Day.

But followed by that, Anna had a surprise for all of us. After a good party with a lot of magic, as well as rain, which came with a lot of items following the theme of Valentines Day, I was surprised by what came next; suddenly Anna stopped and then told us all that I was going to become an Agent. When I heard this I thought Anna was not serious about this, but before hinted that a Cho was going to become an Agent. When I heard this I was thinking "I wonder who it could be?" then thought, and I doubted that I would be picked, as I don't usually think about it. Then all of a sudden, I saw Anna say "We are picking Honest to become an Agent" my heart raced, and I couldn't say anything, I was speechless to the fact that I had just become an Agent.
As a member of the community, I thought I would just be a Citizen and only just that. But after today's party, I have given the rank 'Agent' which to some, may mean a lot. But to me I had never achieved being an Agent, I've never become an Agent in a Chobots Virtual World. Ever since Chobots.com and through many others, I never achieved that title; but now I have.
I want to thank everyone who came to the party as you would have witnessed me becoming an Agent, and because of this I want to say thank you for being there; for me to become an Agent is something that I've just achieved and now that it is so, I can't stop talking about it. As I've said, I mean everything, but also I want to thank the staff for choosing me to become an Agent.

There is so much to post. As you read this, you'll find that there is a lot to cover, so let's get started by talking about the Poetry Contest, which will be ending on the 13th February 2020, so don't forget to submit before then, so make sure you submit as you won't be able to participate in it.

I thought I'd do a post about Facts about the Gamezone Minigames in Chotopia. There are at least five different minigames to play, but these are just a few to play in Chotopia! Which one have you played before?

Let's begin by talking about the various different minigames there are:

1. Asteroids - This minigame is like space invaders but it involves Asteroids in space, your objective is to shoot as many Asteroids as possible to get points, and if you get hit, the game ends. As you progress and shoot Asteroids, they increase; which means you need to shoot faster.

2. Choboard - As a Cho, one of the sports of Chotopia is Choboard. The aim of the game is to collect as many blue balls as possible, whilst avoiding the rusty gears that fly at you, but the catch is that the speed of your Choboard increases as you collect them, so be careful of the gears!

3. Pinball - One of the main points of this game is that it works like a pinball game, try to avoid getting the ball in the hole at the bottom, knock the ball up and get as many points as possible, and as you do that you level up depending on the number of points you get.

4. Crab Game - This game is a one versus one AI (Artificial Intelligence) minigame against someone who isn't real, the aim of the game is to hit the puck into the other's net, just like football/soccer.

5. Robofactory - All you need to do here is match the gear colours, at least three to match to get points and to clear the levels, you need to match all of the gears to get to the next level of the minigame.
All of these minigames give you bugs, which is the main currency of Chotopia!

Which means by combining your monthly membership and your boost, you'll get a whopping 5.25x Multiplier! This will be a great combination if you want to earn lots of bugs.

3. Exclusive Chat Bubble - One thing that is great about membership is that you get a green chat bubble, which helps you stand out from the rest of everyone, as being a Chotopia Member means you're the VIC (Very Important Cho) and means that Cho's will respect you.

Hey Everyone,

There's going to be an Agents Event on Cafe Street at 7:00pm Cho Time on the 7th February 2020, hosted by Antonio involving hide and seek. Not only that but they are taking the event to Rope Street to play the rope game and may involve party magic too. And if you missed the recent posts, then you must be aware that there is a Rope Competition as well as a Poetry Competition. Hopefully, you'll get involved and enjoy the event festivities as well, because the Cho Staff is the best at doing these events.

There's a Chotopian Poetry Contest and it ends on the 13th February 2020.
Here are the requirements for entering the Chotopia Poetry Contest:
- Do not Plagiarise - Create a poem that is written by yourself and not copied by others or is taken from an existing author of a poem.
- Chotopian Themed - This must be a poem in Chotopia and isn't off-topic, for instance: A poem about Valentines Day but it must be in Chotopia.
- Any Type of Poem - As long as you write as long as four lines and no longer than sixteen, then it'll be acceptable for the contest.
- Submit in the Comments Section - Find Jasmin's post about the Chotopian Poetry Contest here and post your poetry there to enter the contest.

I thought I'd come out with top five dailies you should do in Chotopia. As some individuals may not know what to do in Chotopia or are bored and want something to do, well here are my top five dailies that you can do or must-do during your day to day life in Chotopia.

1. Do your Chotopian Quests - This can be from Choproff to other quests in Chotopia. And if you didn't know, then you better start them, as they give items and/or bugs.


2. Do Missions from the Mission Agency - Bring a friend to play the Cow Mission and spend at least 30 minutes on feeding Daisy, and do your Nicho Kingdom Mission once a day.

3. Do at least three Minigames - From Space Racing to Sweet Battle or even Garbage Collector, these are Minigames you should do every day to keep yourself from being bored.


4. Do your Weekly Challenges - This is found on the Dashboard on the side of your map, there are weekly challenges to do that you can do, and if you do complete them you get cool prizes!


5. Do your Daily Spin the Wheel - Make sure you spin the daily wheel, as Chotopia gives you one spin a day and sometimes you can get sweet prizes from the spins.
